Enchanted Rock State Natural Area (Texas)
– A hike to the top of Enchanted Rock offers a magnificent view of the Texas Hill Country. This is from one of my camping trips and hike to the top of the dome (1,825 feet or 556 m above sea level) looking out at the Hill Country side.This park is very popular, especially in the spring. Sometimes the ranger closes the gate because of no parking spaces. So, if you’re planning on going to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, you will be better off going on a week day or hope to pick a weekend when it’s less crowded.
