Mission Concepción (San Antonio Missions National Historic Park)
– The four mission churches part of the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park are Mission Concepción, Mission San José, Mission San Juan and Mission Espada. Though one can drive (and even bike) from one to the next in one day, by the time you get to the last one in your itinerary, you might be rushing. If you decide to visit them, plan for a leisure two-day visit for better enjoyment. Dedicated in 1755, the Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña is the oldest unrestored stone church in America.
