Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area (Austin, Texas)
– Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area is a Lower Colorado River Authority park along the Colorado River in northwest Austin. The park offers a 6.5-mile mountain bike trail, horseback riding, plenty of tent camping sites and a beautiful shoreline along the Colorado River (Lake Travis). Camping sites do not need reservations. Some camping areas are marked, but anyone can camp just about anywhere in the park.
