Point Imperial – Grand Canyon National Park, North Rim
– After being at both south and north rim at the Grand Canyon, I am very partial to the North Rim. First and foremost is the fact the North Rim is much less crowded. Two months prior to our trip there, we were even able to arrange a mule ride down the canyon (for the South Rim you need to book that a year in advance or longer). Also, some of the views in the North Rim are right very close to you, such as Point Imperial. We liked the hikes there with hardly seeing another person.
