— Although this photo is over 10 years old, the magic of a sunset on the Chisos Mountains as seen from the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive is breathtaking. The red and orangeg colors are vibrant and intense giving the Chisos a fiery look. We are less than 24 hours to our departure to Big Bend National Park. It’ll be a five-day-long adventure revisiting scenes such as the one here, some of our favorite trails, canoeing the Rio Grande and experiencing new trails.
