– One of the most beautiful —  if not the most beautiful — US national park, Glacier is a paradise of breathtaking views. Swiftcurrent Lake is located in the Many Glacier region of the park, with the Many Glacier Hotel on its shores. The lake is at an elevation of 4,875 ft (1,486 m) and is 5,249 feet (1,600 m) long and 2,625 feet (800 m) wide. One of the fastest disappearing glaciers in the park, Grinnell Glacier, is responsible for providing water to this lake.
