– Among the Bluebonnets. In addition to the famous and crowded Willow City Loop, County Road 307 is another great place to see Texas wildflowers without the crowds. The road is southeast of Llano, off Highway 71. From Austin, you take Highway 281 to 71 and continue towards Llano. County Road 307 can’t be missed. It is worth a quiet drive with several stops to appreciate the beauty and variety of wildflowers.
