— The Aster Park Overlook at Glacier National Park is a fairly easy trail with incredible views of Two Medicine lake and surrounding mountains, including Sinopah Mountain, Painted Tepee Peak, Lone Walker Mountain, and Flinsch Peak. It is one of the most beautiful hikes in the park. The trail starts at the south end of Two Medicine Lake and is only a 4-mile (6.4-km) round trip hike. Even if you don’t want to do the entire trail (there is some ascent, of course), it is worth going about a quarter of a mile to reach Paradise Point. On this particular hike, we also passed a lot of meadows with bear grass in full bloom. Aster Falls are also located on this trail. Located in the same area of the park, you may also want to check out Mount Henry’s Scenic Point, although it’s a more difficult hike.
