Bald Cypress Trail

Bald Cypress Trail

— Just two years ago (November 2017), that was the scene around Guadalupe River SP. I stopped there on my way back home to take a short hike along the Bald Cypress Trail. Fall foliage was stunning. The trail is only 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long, and you have picnic tables along the trail. It is indeed one of the most scenic areas along the Guadalupe River. I’m hoping to go back to that park some time in November to see if Mother Nature will repeat this show. The park is only a short drive from Austin via the scenic roadways in the Hill Country. The above image was merged from three bracketed shots in order to capture all the light and shadows better in the scene.
