— Home away from home, as I jokingly refer to it, the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) has become a permanent fixture for fun. From concerts to races, COTA continues to add more attractions. This spring, event promoters BikeReg.com has been sponsoring evening bike rides at this world renowned Formula 1 circuit. For ten consecutive weeks anyone can ride their bikes (or rent one) at COTA. The rides go from 6-8 PM, and all skill levels and ages are welcome. I could hardly wait to be able to take my bike and ride it there and experience first-hand what it’s like to conquer Turn 1! Last night I did just that. In addition to the thrill of riding Turn 1, the S curves and the entire circuit, I was able to see COTA from a different angle: on the track! As the sun began to set, the iconic COTA tower stood out beautifully in the sunset. I’m going back next week. Maybe I’ll bring my camera instead of using my Samsung Galaxy 7, as I did for this shot.
