— When I was walking at this small nature trail in north central Ausitn, I realized that beauty is everywhere around you. This park, Copperfield Nature Trail, is very close to my house. I sometimes go there to hike a couple of miles and sometimes I just take my mountain bike to ride a short portion of the trail. In other postings I’ve added here, I’ve often noted how pretty this little gem is. This particular shot reminded me of a Victor Hugo quote:

To see beauty is to see light.

The way the sunlight filters through the fall foliage casts a beautiful invitation to go beyond and discover what lies ahead.
