— Going to Peru was one of those bucket-list trips we had in mind. Besides hitting the must-see locations, as it always happens, we discovered that some unexpected places were nearly magical. Just outside of Puno, where Lake Titicaca is located (the highest navigable lake in the world), we passed Lake Lagunillas. The timing could not have been more perfect as the sun was beginning to set. Even though I had several photos here (we did stop to walk around), this one happened to have been taken from inside the bus as we were traveling to Puno after our quick stop.
