— One of our favorite destinations, Lake Tahoe is always beautiful no matter what the weather and time of the year. The last time we were there, it was Spring Break 2015. On our first afternoon, we went to the dock area where the Tahoe Queen was anchored. The ship is 144 feet (44 m) long and 33 feet (10 m) wide, with three decks. Built in the early 1900’s, this paddle vessel is still used for cruises around the blue waters of Lake Tahoe. It can hold a little over 300 passengers or 150 for a dining cruise.
