— Peace and beauty abound in the Texas Hill Country. Just about a month ago, we stayed in a cabin right by the Sabinal River. Literally, from our back porch we could see and hear the tranquil waters of the Sabinal River. Every day, late in the day, I would take walks by the river to appreciate its beauty and tranquility. In this section of the river, if there hasn’t been some heavy rains, the river is very serene. With the water lever not being high, the river goes in several directions and also forms these types of ponds. It is in these locations that one can enjoy beautiful reflections of fall foliage.
