Monarch or Queen Butterfly?

Monarch

— A couple of weeks ago, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center re-opened its doors for members only and with advance reservations. The process was perfectly tailored and safe for these COVID-19 times. Kudos to the Center! We took opportunity of the re-opening and booked a time to visit the Center. The peak of Spring wildflowers had passed, but there were still lots of wildflowers to appreciate. For example, Gregg’s Mistflower was in full bloom in the Center’s grounds, as shown in the photo here. Besides that, we were still able to spot this beautiful Queen butterfly. With their orange and black colors, Queen butterflies are easily spotted when they are around you.
