— Here is another area in the Grand Canyon NP, North Rim, that never gets old. As I have mentioned in previous posts, this is the highest point in the North Rim. We must have visited this point 3-4 times in our last visit to the park. Although it is not as popular at sunset as Cape Royal is, there is no denying that Point Imperial offers beauty and tranquility in abundance. On this particular afternoon, there must have been no more than a half a dozen people admiring the sunset that was being displayed. The long shadows and colorful display was mesmerizing. In the short video below, you can also appreciate a more panoramic view of Point Imperial.
