Springtime by the Medina River

Medina River— Springtime in Texas can mean rainy days or beautiful crisp days with plenty of sunlight. The photo above was made in early spring, as you can see by the lack of leaves on the trees. It was during the Spring Break of 2016. We spent several days in the area around Bandera and also hiked at Hill Country State Natural Area and Garner State Park. Driving through the Hill Country offers many idyllic views such as the Medina River, as seen above. The river originates from natural springs created by the Balcones Fault.
