— Does it look like a fairy tale scene? The light, the shadows, the shapes, the colors, and the scent — if you were there — would be a total overload for your senses. Just a short drive past Point Imperial, the Vista Encantada is exactly that: an enchanted view! It is fortunate for those who visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon NP that there are no crowds, even in the middle of the summer, as is the case of the shot featured here. We were doing the scenic drive along the Cape Royal Road from the lodge to Point Imperial and beyond. This was the perfect spot to stop and have a picnic to absorb all the beauty around us. The view before our eyes looks over the Walhalla Plateau.
