St Edwards Park

— From time to time I enjoy going hiking at St. Edwards Park here in Austin. There are plenty of trails around in various lengths. The Green and Red Loop, for example, is approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) and offers a variety of scenery. You can see Bull Creek along the trail and even some waterfalls depending on how much water there is in the creek. The only thing to keep in mind is that the parking area is somewhat limited. I can imagine that weekends are tough to find parking there. On this particular weekday in March 2020, there were not many people out there. After wandering around and appreciating some wildflowers and butterflies, I found this nice, quiet area on the banks of Bull Creek. Besides the reflections created in the creek, the sun was just at the right spot for me to get this starburst the sun was creating. It was like the world was upside down.
